Klay Hygienic Series 4000 Transmitter
The Klay series 4000 is a complete line of high-end intelligent pressure and level transmitters with a stainless steel electronics housing. The calibration / programming can be done very easy without test pressure by using the unique one touch programming button together with the graphic display with backlight. The series 4000 is fully temperature compensated and over 40 different process connections with flush diaphragm available. Options include HART® protocol.

Kobold Hygienic LNK Level Probe
The Kobold conductive level probes LNK-K are use for level measurement. The electrical resistance between metallic vessel and level electrode is measured and evaluated. In combination with the Kobold LZE or LZE-R weld-in sleeves, the probe provides a measuring point that has no dead space and meets hygiene standards. This level switch is therefore very well suited for CIP/SIP cleaning.

Kobold Hygienic Microwave Level Sensor
The Kobold LNM microwave level switch is used for detecting levels of fill. The microwave field penetrates several millimetres into the medium. Foam, condensate or remains of the transported medium that have stuck on to the tank are not detected. By using this principle of measurement it is also possible to detect non-conductive media. The level switch is particularly suitable for use with foaming media because the foam itself is not detected. The output of the level switch only switches when the coupling section is completely covered by the medium. This means it is possible to install it into tanks regardless of position. In combination with the KOBOLD LZE or LZE-R weld-in sleeves, the probe provides a measuring point that has no dead space and meets hygiene standards.
Kobold Hygienic Capacitive Level Sensor
The Kobold LNZ capacitive level switch is used for detecting levels of fill. The electric field penetrates several millimetres into the medium. The change in capacity caused by contact with the medium is measured and evaluated. By using this principle of measurement it is also possible to detect non-conductive media. Installation in tanks is very straightforward regardless of position. In combination with the KOBOLD LZE or LZE-R weld-in sleeves, the probe provides a measuring point that has no dead space and meets hygiene standards. Installation is virtually front-flush. This level switch is therefore very well suited for CIP/SIP cleaning.
Klay Hygienic Level Switch
Klay’s robust tuning fork level switch. All stainless steel and suitable for all liquids. They work on the vibrating tuning-fork principle. They are compatible with non-coating and some coating media who viscosities can range up to 5000 cSt. In addition to the electrical switching control function, an LED signals the status of the switch and the presence of power at the NWS’s terminals. The switching logic of the NWS is easily toggled between N/O and N/C by an internal switch. Applications range from aximum and minimum level detection of liquids in tanks. Minimum level detection in conduits as dry run protection of pumps.
Kobold Hygienic Non- Contact Radar Level Sensor
Kobolds hygienic non-contact radar level sensor continuously measures liquids contained in vessels. The NRM is for use in abrassive materials such as chocolates, honey or syrups. It is also appropriate for sanitary environments such as human or animal food processing or pharmaceuticals.
Kobold Ultrasonic Level Switch
The Kobold ultrasonic level meter, model NUS-4, is used for non-contact, continuous level and volume measurement in vessels or for flow measurement in open channels. Level measurement technology based on the non-contacting ultrasonic principle is especially suited for applications where, for any reason, no physical contact can be established to the surface of the material to be measured. Such reasons may include corrosive attack by the process medium against the measuring device material (acids), possible contamination (sewage) or particles of the process medium adhering to the measuring device (adhesive materials).
Kobold Industrial Float Level Switch
Kobold type NGS industrial level switches are rugged switches built for the harshest of environments. All wetted parts are constructed of 316 stainless steel. The SPDT switch is activated by a permanent magnet external to the switch housing so that no penetration exists between the process medium and the switch internals. This mode of operation results in a very reliable switch which requires no external power to operate. The high-capacity, 10 Amp mechanical switch will directly operate most electrical loads such as relays, solenoid valves, and motor starters.
Kobold industrial Level Switch
The KOBOLD liquid level switch NWS is designed as a 2 and 3-wire switch and can be universally used in vessels and pipelines. The NWS operates on the tuning fork principle in air at resonance frequency. When the fork is immersed in liquid, the frequency changes: this change is detected electronically and the output signal is changed. The NWS operates as a 2-wire switch in series with the load. The simple electronic switch is operated by the liquid.
Kobold Rotating Vane Level Switch
The NIR-9 level monitor is suitable for wide applications for bulks and solids in silos and hoppers. Regardless of humidity and conductivity of the product, the maximum or minimum level is controlled reliably. Available are different vanes and process connections according to each product and tank size.
Kobold PDD Pressure Sensor/Switch
Kobold pressure sensors/switches series PDD are cost effective electronic pressure switches with digital indication of actual pressure. Two switch points, on-/off-switch delay and hysteresis are programmable within the measuring range. A piezzo resistive ceramic sensor is used. The units can be used where high switching accuracy is needed. Long term stability, repeatability and the compact and robust design make them ideal for use in OEM applications.

Kobold Digital Temperature Switch
Temperature switches of model TDD are used for economical measurement and monitoring of temperature. They are suited for applications where temperature must be monitored with a high degree of switching accuracy. A semiconductor, which outputs a digital signal to the evaluating electronics in 0.5 °C steps, serves as sensor element. The current measured value is displayed on a 3-digit LED display. Two switch points, on-/off-switching delay and hysteresis are adjustable within the measuring range.

Flow
Kobold MIM Magnetic Flow Meter
The Kobold MIM electromagnetic flowmeter was developed for measuring and monitoring small and medium-sized flow of conductive liquids in pipes. The device operates according to the electromagnetic measurement principle. When Dosing or Batch mode the Kobold MIM Magnetic Flow Meter displays the quantity to be batched in a preselectable unit (lts) with the current flow rate also being displayed in lt/min. The progress of the batch process is additionally represented by a graphic animation in which the container shown fills in percent and volume batched. Soft key buttons on the display are used to Stop, Start the batch process and also for resetting the Dosing or Batch Value.
Kobold Hygienic Thermal Flow Switch
The Kobold® type KAL-K Series thermal flow switches utilize Kobold’s revolutionary temperature compensating electronics. These compact, one-piece units provide reliable readings largely unaffected by temperature or physical characteristics of a wide variety of water-based process liquids. The KAL-K is offered with a NPT or a 3-A compliant Tri-Clamp fitting. The thermal flow switch incorporates an 8 segment bar graph LED flow trend indicator and one flow alarm setpoint. The setpoint is fully configurable as NPN, PNP, normally-open or normally-closed.

Kobold DON Oval Gear Flow Meter
The Kobold Don oval gear positive displacement flow meters are the preferred choice for measuring clean, high & low viscosity liquids such as oils, waste water, chemicals, resins and pastes. This metal flow meter uses 2 precision-machined oval gears which allow for a very specific volume of liquid to pass through the meter with each rotation. These gears enable the Don to precisely measure liquid flow over a very wide viscosity range.
Kobold DOT Turbine Flow Meter
The turbine flowmeter model DOT consists of a helically shaped turbine rotor supported in two tungsten carbide bearings, the rotor being solid ferritic stainless steel of a grade compatible with the metered liquid, all contained within a housing of non-magnetic stainless steel. A pick off coil having a permanent magnet core is mounted in the housing adjacent to the rotor blade tips such that a magnetic circuit is set up via the rotor blades.
Conductivity
Kobold LCI Hygienic Conductivity Sensor
The Kobold LCI is used for the hygienic measurement and control of the conductivity and respectively for concentrations of liquid media. The integrated temperature measurement makes exact and fast temperature compensation (linear and nonlinear) possible, which is particularly important for the measurement of the conductivity. Additional functions such as the combined switching of the measurement range and temperature make possible the optimum use in case of CIP-processes.
